Welcome 2011!
2010 has passed, unfortunately, only few activities were organized in 2010. We, as the committee members, are hoping 2011 will be filled with so many interesting activities for our members. Non members are also welcomed to give their supports. In January, the Annual Grand Meeting (AGM) for IEEE Malaysia was held to restructure the Board of IEEE Malaysia and in the following week, the few former committees and new faces were elected to some posts in the IEEE UiTM Student Branch. They are the younger generation chosen to keep IEEE UiTM Student Branch active. Hope to see some nice events from you guys! With this entry, the previous committees of IEEE UiTM Student Branch will resign officially.

Semester break for this semester will end soon. Lots of planned events are going to be held next semester. So, to all members and also non-members, please be alert with the posters and banners around you. You might get a very valuable experience by joining the events. The list of events for next semester will be updated later. So, do join our programs!!! We will be waiting for all of you, guys! |

The Annual General Meeting of IEEE UiTM Student Branch for 2010 has been held at 'The Mind' seminar room on last wednesday, 3/2/2010. One of the contents of the meeting is the election of new committee members for 2010 session. There are about 10 new committee members that have been selected. |

This is the website of IEEE UiTM Malaysia Student Branch for 2010. For our new members, welcome to IEEE, one of the famous name in electrical and electronics engineering field.
The IEEE (Eye-triple-E) is a non-profit, technical professional association of more than 360,000 individual members in approximately 175 countries. The full name is the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, Inc., although the organization is most popularly known and referred to by the letters I-E-E-E.
Through its members, the IEEE is a leading authority in technical areas ranging from computer engineering, biomedical technology and telecommunications, to electric power, aerospace and consumer electronics, among others.
The Institute of Electronic and Electrical Engineers (IEEE) is the world's largest technical soceity of any discipline. The IEEE originally came into existence in 1884 as the brain-child of a few scientists pursuing the realms of the newly born world of electrical engineering.
